The Department of Communication Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is delighted to announce that José Ángel Maldonado will join our faculty as an assistant professor in Fall 2017, focusing on Rhetoric of Identity and Difference. Coming out of the University of Utah program, Prof. Maldonado centers his work in Communication and Rhetorical Theory, Critical and Cultural Studies, Globalization and Neoliberalism, and Transnational Indigeneity, with a particular interest in Mexican Communication Studies.
